F-Etch (Hydrofluoric Acid 9%)
Porcelain etch acid OrisTech is available in 2 models, 9% and 5%.
This product is used to prepare composite bonding to porcelain, etching laminate, full porcelain crowns, ceramic inlays and inlays, and bonding orthodontic brackets to porcelain.
Porcelain etching is used to improve the mechanical bond of porcelain with other cements by increasing the amount of porcelain surface, similar to sand blasting, except that it is more efficient and controllable.
In order to prevent the emission of very dangerous vapor of hydrofluoric acid and not to change the PH, the product has a buffering effect.
Indication:
Hydrofluoric acid is used to etch feldspathic porcelains and lithium disilicates, and it should not be used to etch metal or teeth. The main effect of HF is on the surface crystal silica of porcelain.
Characteristics:
• Preparation of porcelain surface for stronger bond with resin and composite
• Porcelain etch inside the mouth (broken porcelain repair) and outside the mouth (Inlays, Onlays, Veneers)
• Etching of old composites before bonding and restoration
• It has a red color in order to better distinguish it from the color of porcelain
• Lack of colorability of resin or composite cement and porcelain from pigments
• Unique design of the product to facilitate penetration in small cracks
• Has suitable viscosity for better performance and easy washing
• It has a buffering property to prevent the emission of very dangerous vapors
Components:
• A syringe with a cap of 3 ml
• Three needle heads
• Instruction for use
