OrisTech caries detector is a caries detection solution that comes in three colors: red, green and blue.
There is a possibility that dentists will not detect caries during treatment. This product helps to remove the external cariesed and infected dentin layer and provides the possibility of optimal caries removal. It also prevents the removal of healthy dentin and remineralizable dentin, which protects the dentin and pulp and thus leads to insensitivity and maintaining the healthy structure of the tooth. cariesed dentin consists of two layers. The outer layer (Outer Carious Dentin) is decalcified and stained with bacteria. This layer cannot be remineralized and must be removed.
At the same time, the inner layer (Inner Carious Dentin) is only partially decalcified and not infected. This layer is still remineralizable and should be preserved as much as possible. Caries detector helps dental students very well in conservative treatment.
